Frequently asked questions

What information is needed for an accurate quotation?

Send the grade / UNS number, shape, dimensions, length, quantity, condition, surface finish, standard, inspection requirements and delivery destination.

Can bars be supplied to a fixed length?

Yes. Bars can be cut to a fixed length with chamfered or square-cut ends, within the mill tolerance stated on the order.

Can you supply non-standard grades or dimensions?

Non-standard grades and dimensions are available on request, subject to minimum quantity and lead-time confirmation at RFQ stage.

How should I select a nickel alloy?

Selection should be confirmed against the service environment, temperature and governing design code. Share the operating conditions and we can advise suitable grades.
