What Is Verified & Documented
Every heat is tested for chemical composition by optical emission spectrometry and reported against the alloy limits of the designation standard named on the order. Dimensions are inspected to the tolerances agreed in the specification, and ultrasonic inspection of billet is available on request.
Documentation is agreed before the order rather than assumed afterwards. The usual set is an EN 10204 3.1 material test certificate with chemistry results, heat traceability, a packing list and a certificate of origin, extended where your process needs treatment records or sustainability declarations.
Scope matters more than document names. State the values, test methods, sampling and acceptance criteria your approval process relies on, and the agreed scope is recorded in the supply proposal.

Chemistry Per Heat
Chemical composition is tested per heat by optical emission spectrometry and reported against the alloy limits of the named designation standard.
Dimensional Inspection
Diameter, length and squareness are checked against the agreed tolerances. Sampling and acceptance criteria are recorded in the order specification.
Ultrasonic Inspection
Ultrasonic inspection of billet is available on request. State the acceptance standard and reporting format your approval process requires.
Identification & Packing
Bundles are identified so that material, inspection records and shipping documents can be linked on receipt.

How Acceptance Is Defined
- A document name is not an acceptance specification — define the values, test methods and traceability links that matter for your part.
- An alloy designation alone does not cover dimensions, surface condition, treatment, inspection or documentation.
- Certificates, recycled-content declarations and carbon values are confirmed per product and per order, not claimed as a blanket statement.
- Tolerances are supplied to your specification; indicative values are confirmed in the offer before the order is placed.
- Agree sampling, inspection arrangements and report language in the enquiry so the supply proposal records the scope.
