Vacuum melt & VIM
Alloys are vacuum-induction melted for low residuals; critical service grades are additionally VAR-remelted.
Hot rolling & forging
Ingots are converted to bar by hot rolling or open-die forging with tight thermal control to avoid intergranular carbide precipitation.
Solution annealing
Bars are solution-annealed and water-quenched to lock in optimum corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.
Straightening & finishing
Bars are roller-straightened, centreless-ground where required, and stamped with heat number for full traceability.
